DAF Trucks is celebrating an extraordinary milestone at RTX ’25 in Stoneleigh with the unveiling of a striking new flagship ‘UK30 Special Edition’ XG+ 530 model, marking 30 years as the UK’s number one truck brand. Finished in exclusive metallic green paint and adorned with Union Flag accents, the limited-run was revealed this morning on the opening day of the show on DAF’s outdoor stand B1.

The anniversary edition truck also pays homage to DAF’s enduring legacy of manufacturing in the UK, where DAF vehicles for the domestic market, including the UK30 Special Edition truck, are built at Leyland Trucks in Lancashire. Reflecting this proud heritage, the upper bunk in the cab features a bold Union Flag graphic, while inside features premium touches including unique Xtra leather air seats and upper bunk – setting it apart as a true collector’s piece with functional appeal.

Only 30 of the commemorative XG+ model will be built which, DAF believes, will signal a rush to place orders for the exclusive new truck. Customers can select from four versatile tractor configurations:
•    FTS 6x2 with twin-wheeled tag axle
•    FTG 6x2 twin-steer/pusher
•    FTN 6x2 rear-steer
•    FT 4x2
Initial customer interest has been strong, with several loyal DAF operators staking their claim before seeing the truck. The remaining production slots – for delivery later in 2025 – are expected to be taken quickly following the vehicle’s public debut at RTX.
